Flooring
Flooring fails from underneath. Our flooring fitters prepare and level the subfloor first, then lay laminate, LVT, engineered wood, vinyl or carpet so it lies flat and stays flat.
Almost every flooring complaint traces back to the subfloor. Bouncy boards, an uneven screed, damp coming up from below. Lay a beautiful floor over any of those and you have an expensive problem in a year.
What we fit
- Laminate. Hard wearing and quick to fit.
- LVT. Luxury vinyl tile, warm underfoot and good over underfloor heating.
- Engineered wood. Real timber, more stable than solid boards.
- Vinyl and sheet flooring. Practical for kitchens, bathrooms and rentals.
- Carpet. Including underlay, gripper and neat door bars.
Subfloor preparation
We lift the old floor, check what is underneath, and level or repair it before anything new goes down. If there is damp or a failed screed we will tell you before we start, not after.
Kitchens, bathrooms and everywhere else
Bathrooms and wet areas usually want tile or vinyl. Living space usually wants wood, laminate or carpet. If you are torn, ask, and we will tell you what actually suits the room and the traffic.

Frequently asked questions
Laminate, LVT, engineered wood, vinyl and carpet. We will tell you honestly which suits the room, the traffic and the budget.
Yes, and we take it away. We also check what is underneath before laying anything new.
Most floating floors do, and it affects warmth, sound and how the floor feels underfoot. The right underlay depends on the floor and whether there is underfloor heating.
Yes. Levelling compound, repairs to boards or a new screed, depending on what we find. Skipping this is why floors fail.
