Pressure washing
Pressure washing brings a driveway, patio or render back without replacing it. The trick is using the right pressure for the surface, then re-sanding block paving so it does not move.
A green, tired driveway usually does not need replacing. It needs cleaning properly, and then the joints re-sanding so the blocks stay locked together.
What we clean
- Driveways and block paving. Cleaned, then re-sanded so the blocks do not shift.
- Patios and paths. Slabs, porcelain and natural stone.
- Render and cladding. At a pressure that cleans rather than damages.
- Decking. Stripped back of algae and green film.
- Gutters and fascias. Cleared and washed down.
Pressure is not the point
Turning the pressure up damages soft stone, blasts joints out of block paving and drives water behind render. The skill is knowing what each surface will take. We would rather do it twice at a sensible pressure than wreck a patio once.
While we are there
Blocked gutters cause damp walls, so it is worth clearing them at the same time. If the clean reveals damage underneath, our landscapers and roofers can put it right.

Not if it is done at the right pressure for the surface. Too much pressure blasts the joints out of block paving and damages soft stone, which is why the setting matters more than the machine.
Yes. Cleaning washes the sand out of the joints. If it is not replaced, the blocks work loose, so re-sanding is part of the job.
Yes, at a pressure that cleans without driving water behind it. Render is easy to damage, so it is worth doing carefully.
