Bricklaying and groundwork
Our bricklayers and groundworkers handle walls, foundations, drainage and repointing. Structural work that has to be right the first time, because putting it right later is expensive.
Groundwork is the part nobody sees and everything else depends on. Get the foundations, levels and drainage wrong and the problem surfaces years later, usually as a crack.
What we do
- Brickwork. Garden walls, boundary walls, piers and rebuilds.
- Repointing. Failed mortar lets water into the wall. We rake out and repoint with the right mix.
- Foundations. For extensions, garages and outbuildings.
- Drainage. New runs, repairs, soakaways and surface water.
- Matching existing brickwork. So a repair does not look like a patch.
Extensions need every trade
An extension starts with groundwork and finishes with decorating, and in between it needs a bricklayer, a roofer, an electrician, a plumber, a plasterer and a joiner. Sequencing that is the hard part, and it is what we do.
Walls and gardens
Retaining walls, garden walls and steps often come as part of a wider landscaping job. We can do the lot rather than you booking two firms who blame each other.

Yes. New runs, repairs, soakaways and surface water drainage. Standing water against a wall is a problem worth solving early.
We do our best to, and it matters. Matching the brick and the mortar mix is the difference between a repair and an obvious patch.
