Joinery and carpentry
Our joiners and carpenters build and fit the things you live with every day. Fitted furniture, doors and skirting, kitchen fitting and staircases, measured properly and finished neatly.
Good joinery is invisible. Doors that shut properly, skirting with no gaps, a fitted wardrobe that looks like it grew out of the wall. Bad joinery is the thing you notice every single day.
What we do
- Fitted furniture. Wardrobes, alcove units, shelving and storage, built to the room rather than bought off a shelf.
- Doors and skirting. Hanging, easing, replacing and trimming out, internal and external.
- Kitchen fitting. Units, worktops and the fiddly bits around them.
- Staircases. Repairs, replacement treads, spindles, handrails and full builds.
- Second fix. Architrave, boxing in, loft hatches and general carpentry.
Kitchens need more than a joiner
A kitchen fit usually needs the units in, then the water and the power. We employ those trades too, so the plumber and the electrician turn up on the right day rather than three weeks later. Once it is in, our tilers and decorators finish it off.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Wardrobes, alcove units and shelving are built to the room, which matters in older properties where nothing is square and off the shelf units leave gaps.
Yes, and we can bring in the plumber and electrician on the same job so the units, water and power are coordinated rather than booked separately.
Both. Doors that stick or will not latch can often be eased and rehung rather than replaced. If replacement is the sensible answer we will say so.
Yes. Creaking treads, loose spindles and damaged handrails are common repairs, and we build full staircases where needed.
